Ticketmaster was nice enough to hand out pizza to everyone, which was a nice gesture, but that doesn't make up for it. We arrived at the door at 6 to get good seats on the floor, paid for parking, only to not be let in for 2 hours (keep in mind it was 42 degrees outside). The show, originally scheduled for 7:30, still had not begun by 10:45 PM.
Why didn't Ticketmaster let anyone know about any of this? The show was supposed to start at 7:30 with doors opening at 6. All in all, I'm out $700 over 8 tickets. Another group of friends drove back home since they live all the way in Wichita Falls 2.5 hrs away. I'm just curious if Ticketmaster has any intentions of doing anything for the people who purchased tickets to this fiasco tonight.
We all just left since my wife and I both have work in the morning. Our other group of friends also left as they only had a babysitter scheduled until 11:15. So we get inside around 8:45 and find out the show isn't starting until 10PM because of some delay, AND Phantogram is no longer performing because of this. I'm hopeful that Ticketmaster owns up to this and refunds everyone, but I wanted to reach out first with just my side as I'm certain many more complaints are to come. All in all, I purchased 8 tickets for this, none of us got to stay to see a second of Gordie Brown or Phantogram.
